Terry is home with her two young children while her husband, Jeffrey, has gone away on a golf trip with his father. Because Terry is kind, she lets Colin into her home even though he is a stranger. Colin tricks Terry into thinking he has called a tow-truck for help and that he will leave as soon as it arrives. Meanwhile, he goes around the house taking measures to prevent her escape or self-defense.

Terry和她的兩個年幼孩子在家, 而她的丈夫Jeffrey已經離開和他父親去高爾夫旅行. 因為Terry很善良, 她讓Colin進入她的家, 即使他是個漠生人. Colin 騙Terry 他已經叫了拖車, 他會離開等拖車來到. 同時, 他把房子走了一圈, 採取方法防止她逃走或自我防衛.

She eventually realizes he has lied to her and notices that he is planning something devious. For the rest of the film, Colin terrorizes Terry and her children and she tries to trick him or convince him to leave her family alone.

她最後終於發現他欺騙了她並且注意到他打算做壞事. 接下來的電影當中, Colin 恐嚇 Terry 和她的小孩, 而她試圖唬住他或說服他離開她的家人.
